I'm currently running a media company along side my full time job. The company deals with many aspects of media, currently specialising in creating websites, mobile applications and audio recording / editing. I'm the sole employee and director.
It has been trading since February/March last year. And I have generated some income in this time. I have not been paying myself a salary or withdrawn any income from the business. Everything business related has gone through my business account and all transactions have been paid / received via debit card / faster payments i.e. no cash transactions. I have / can get receipts / invoices for the majority of the larger expenses.
I'd like to get advice on retrieving the income or if better simply leaving it in the business account as savings for when I wish to invest in the company. I'll also be needing to return accounts to HMRC and potentially self assessment depending on if I'll be taking income out of the business or not. Would be good to speak to someone further.
Prefer to work Locally, may consider remotely depending on price.
