I am interested in professional advice about particular matters arising
1. I have an online shop and making a separate invoice per transaction sometimes is quite time-consuming. That is why I wonder if PayPal package slips can be used for book-keeping instead of receipts/invoices, to save time.
2. how can I record PayPal transfer fees that are shown in my PayPal online but not shown on the slips that PayPal allows me to print?
3. How should I record charity donations when I donate my products for charity purposes?
4. How exactly do I record the refund for returned product?
5. Do I have to receive any obligatory licenses/certificates to import and sell Chinese teaware in the UK?
6. If I receive a tea parcel from China by post, the seller indicates HS codes of the items, and HMRC has to control whether or not I have to pay customs and sends me a letter stating how much I have to pay. Can I also sell the items gifted to my business by my Chinese exporter? Do I have to make any special documents regarding gifted items if I want to sell them?
I am trading using PayPal account since April 2014, and would need some help with checking if my book-keeping is appropriate as I just started.
