I set up a Ltd company when I became a locum Child and Adolescent Practitioner in May/June 2013. I was given too little and misleading advice about record keeping and when accounts would be required and now find myself in the position of almost having to present my accounts to Companies House which I only found out about about a week ago. I feel that I was very misled and now feel quite panicked. I have been working away from home and so have accommodation costs to take into account as well as travelling both for work and to return home. I don't know what I can offset against tax or how to keep records of my expenses although I have all my receipts and information. I was given a helpful spreadsheet by a friend but trying to fill it in has thrown up other questions and now I need someone to get me out of this fix. However, because of my extra costs for living away from home, I do not have huge amounts of money.
