I am trying to get a start up off the ground. I have an extensive business plan generated by Business Plan Pro software with all the financials already completed.
We are on the final stumbling block to post our pitch on crowdcube,com - This final obstacle is providing their financial snapshot of figures which have been extrapolated from our business plan financials. Whilst most of it is balancing, there is a slight problem in the translation of figures. Because I am not an accountant, I don't have the skills to understand the terms for me to see where the problem lies in this translation.
Their snapshot is a simple, one-page profit & loss and cashflow statement. We have been told the problem seems to lie in how the business plan pro software has kept the 'start up' table outside of the financial year plan, which is why the figures are not balancing after extrapolation onto their snapshot.
Months of work has gone into this startup business and this final stumbling block is immensely frustrating. It is
