Quote request from an individual in HP9

So far I have had quotes of between £900 and £2160 (both inc VAT) from Accountants with no details on what I get for the money.
I am paying VAT online, considering using CB's to work out the amount as it is less typing that Excel.
I was using Excel for my double-entry, running a weekly Trial Balance, a monthly P&L and Balance Sheet. From what I can tell CB will simply make that quicker.
I now have the PAYE pack from HMRC and I am about to engage in my first employee payment (me) of £675.42 with £0 Tax and £5.13 deducted for NI and an Employer NI payment of £7.10 as I believe that will keep me within my Tax Allowance.
I am investigating how to pay Tax Credits as I believe I understand the process and paperwork for Dividend payments but do not plan to engage that until June.
Meanwhile I am charging expenses to the company for train travel and mileage and cross charging what has been agreed to my clients.
However, at some point I will most likely benefit from an informed person for advice and t
