We are looking for a new accountant that is close by. The reason why we want to change is that our current accountant is too far away and keeps our books for too long - usually 4 months. They also charge more every year without telling us the rate will be more. We are a design company, we are VAT registered, but I do that online. We keep books, plus files with invoices. We only need the accounts doing once a year to do our return plus reminders for other things such as companies house, paye, etc.
