I am in need of some advice regarding child tax credit. My child turned 16 in 2010 and continued in full time education. The Inland Revenue are now asking me to pay back a large sum of money as they say they have overpaid me as I did not inform them that my child remained in full time education. I have looked and can only find that I should tell them if anything changes. That did not change. My child stayed in full time education. Is there anything I can do? Please help!
