The Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) requires an experienced Finance Officer with knowledge on European Commission grants to provide one-day a week finance and grants oversight. This person will specifically support the implementation of ISD’s 3-year EU grant entitled Policy Exchange Portal (PEP): An Initiative of the European Policy Planners Network on Countering Polarisation and Radicalisation.
Responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the projects coordinator in the day-to-day planning, monitoring and reporting of expenditure for the European Commission funded project;
• Designing and adapting financial monitoring processes to ensure compliance with EU financial requirements;
• Working with the ISD finance manager to produce monthly internal financial forecasting and expenditure reports;
• Ensuring monthly financial tracking processes fulfil all requirements of the EU Commission grant agreement;
• Offering guidance to projects coordinator on compliance with financial requirements of the E
