I am looking for an accountant to help me do my tax return for the tax year 6/4/2014 - 5/4/2015.
Could you please:
(1) give me a quote for your service for my first tax year (6/4/2014 - 5/4/2015)
(2) and answer the question in bold underneath?
Brief summary of my situation:
* I am a French citizen that repatriated from New Zealand to the UK;
* I started living in London on 11th June 2014 (date of arrival).
* Sources of income:
----I was employed in London from 16/06/2014 to 04/12/2014 and was paying taxes directly through PAYE.
----However I also received interests from foreign bank account, which are not declared to the UK tax office to date.
* I started working as a sole trader on 13/04/2015; I requested for my company and obtained a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) for my second tax year (6/4/2015 - 5/4/2016) in the UK. To help me do my tax return for my first tax year here in the UK, do I need to request another UTR for me as a person? Or can I just re-use my self-trade UTR? I need urgently a response to this as I've just learned that the limit for registration for my first tax year (6/4/2014 - 5/4/2015) is end of October. Local accountant.
