I am in the process of organising my PILE, and i mean pile of income and expenses from books, calendars etc. Its a bit messy but I should be organised in a week maximum. My business was formed on the 17th Feb and i immediately signed up with Crunch Accountants which I found very unhelpful as i thought they did my bookkeeping and everytime i contacted them I was told 'were jus waiting for some forms back with tax codings etc, which I do have now.
I am now deciding from using clearbooks that I can manage my book-keeping and I just need some help and advice once that is all present and corrected and up to date.
My friend who is a treasurer and his brother a chartered accountant said they will do it for me, as its more the end of year stuff i will need the assistance with although my books will be accurate so i imagine there wouldnt be too much hassle.
I am going to start looking at selling products online now therefore will need VAT registering and PAYE which my treasurer friend said he is organising but maybe if you call me in a weeks time i will know the situation better. I havent even taken a wage for myself. I am a digital agency with sub brands one been which is currently my main income but at the moment is dormant due to me voluntarily taking a few weeks rehab.
I also need my accountant to be my registered address as i move around a lot with work so have no fixed abode.
