Hi! I am a contractor at Jaguar Land Rover and I am looking for an accountant and potential bookkeeper for my ltd company. I am looking to be advised on expenses and practices to reduce the corporation tax.
Was previously employed as a contractor and consultant in the same profession but since May of this year have now launched a limited company operating in the same profession.
And will be requiring the services of an accountant in terms of help with HMRC, bookkeeping, PAYE, and help with self assessment, and submitting end of years.
Would also like my new accountant to advise me as to whether to operate as a limited company or as a sole trader, would like to know the pros and cons of both.
Previous accountant has raised the price of their services and am unhappy with the service they provide, will be more than happy to change accountants for the right price.
Previous accountant also recorded accounts on Xero, so all data was recorded online, will be looking for an accountant familiar with accounting software, preferably Clearbooks.
Am also open to working locally and remotely with the right accountant, but would like at least 1 or 2 face to face meetings to begin with.
