I have never filled in any self-assessment form since I started working on 2008. I called HMRC and they told me no tax can be refunded as they calculate it every year. And they issued me a cheque of roughly £200 for the last financial year (yet to be received). Below is my working time gap:
2010 February stopped working for Eurobios.

2010 October started working for Stage Ltd.
2011 December - 2012 January sick leave, receving stautionary pay.
I was living in China from 2013 September to 2014 May. During this period, I rented my only residential property and was receiving rental income. And my annual salary is 40K.
And this June I received an self assessment form from HMRC ( haven't handed in yet)
So please quota the price if ask you to help me and based on my case can I claim any previous year tax return? Or we can meet up do an initial consultation first.
