I own & let two cottages in the Godalming area as a private individual. I am one of two trustees of a family trust which owns a further 12 cottages in the Godalming area. For various reasons, we are planning to split the family trust - so that I will have sole control over 6 of these cottages. I am toying with the idea that we should set up a company (I'm a bit disillusioned with trusts) to run & manage 8 cottages. I'm looking for advice & eventual assistance on achieving this aim. This means an accountant who is used to dealing with landlords who trade as a business and who, ideally, understands trusts as well.
