I left my full time job in February and have since then been self employed. I am trying to stay ahead and start the tax return process for the tax year 2012-13 but, having never done it before, am a little out of my depth.
I don't earn much but obviously, need to complete the tax return correctly. I work from home as a freelance copywriter and need help with what to include (and where in the tax return form to include it) i.e. I use a room in my house to work, use a proportion of my broadband daily, have bought a computer and have been paying for childcare.
I need to know what, where and how to include the deductions so that my tax return is as clear and concise as possible. I just need someone to show me how to do it for this first one!
