My name is Melissa Padgett and I am currently a third year student at The University of Nottingham, where I am studying French and Hispanic studies and I am considering accountancy as a future career path.
After visiting your website and reading about your company, I was wondering if it would be at all possible for me to shadow one of your professionals at any time during the month of August this year, so that I could spend some time observing and learning more about this profession. My reason for this is because I will start applying for my graduate interviews in October this year, therefore I believe that with the current economic situation, it may give me an edge if I was able to show my eagerness and that I have taken initiative to have some experience with accountancy even though I am a language student.
I understand that I am asking a lot and that your time is valuable, but I would be really grateful if you would allow me to quietly observe somebody for a small amount of time
