Derek Rothera started his accountancy firm in Islington north London in 1972 working from home and having qualified as a chartered accountant with a large City of London firm.
Derek Rothera & Company now has 15 employees and serves some 500 clients in a wide range of businesses.
The firm is a member of the Charity Practitioners' Forum http://www.charitypractitioners.org.uk
Our offices provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which to meet clients the majority of whom come to us on personal recommendation.

Currently Derek Rothera FCA is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). Derek is also authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to provide investment advice.
12 members of staff have qualifications, 11 being members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
There are two who are members of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) one of whom looks after the statutory record of the 200 or so limited companies for whom the firm acts, many of which have their registered address at our offices.
